The Mercer at a glance
The Mercer makes room for everyday life in a straightforward urban footprint. A sculpted porch frame and tall walnut-clad facade lead into bright living and dining spaces, a window-lit kitchen and a family mudroom with individual lockers. Three upstairs bedrooms, two full bathrooms and nearby laundry keep the private rooms together. The primary suite includes an ensuite, a rear walk-in closet and its own wood-floored deck above the garage. A separate under-stair utility room keeps household equipment out of the family arrival space. White, gray and greige tile adds variety to the warm interior palette. The attached rear garage accommodates two cars side by side with alley access. Final site fit, deck structure and waterproofing, utility equipment and finish selections are developed for each project.

How it's built
The Mercer, built with panelized construction
MBS builds The Mercer from factory-made wall panels, floor cassettes and roof panels, CNC-cut in our St. Louis plant to the approved drawings. Panels ship flat and are set on a conventional foundation. The finished home is wood framing, not a modular box or a manufactured home, with a 50% quicker construction schedule.
