What relief and recovery teams ask

All questions
How far do you deliver?

Our standard delivery range is 1,000 miles from St. Louis, across the Midwest, Mid-South and Plains, on standard flatbed and step-deck trucks. We ship anywhere in America based on project size and project pro forma, with freight priced into your estimate.

What does shipping cost?

Freight is priced into your estimate based on the truck count and distance. Our standard delivery range is 1,000 miles from St. Louis, and we ship anywhere in America based on project size and project pro forma. Send the site address with your plans.

What foundation do MBS panels need?

Any conventional foundation your engineer specifies: slab on grade, crawl space or full basement. Your GC pours it while the panels are in production. We size the panels from the survey and the permit set, and the foundation is finished and inspected before the delivery date is locked.

Is panelized construction code compliant?

Yes. MBS builds to the codes adopted where the building will stand. Before manufacturing, we confirm with the state or local authority which factory approvals and inspections closed panels need, and use approved third-party inspectors where they are permitted. Site permits and inspections still cover the foundation, installation and completion. In St. Louis, for example, the City inspects panels in our factory and again on site, and every connection stays open to view until interior finishes go on. Some states, Illinois among them, run their own factory-built programs with plan approval, third-party plant inspection and a state seal.

How fast is it?

MBS delivers up to a 50% quicker construction schedule than traditional construction. Panels are manufactured while your foundation goes in, and closed panels go up weather-tight in days, not weeks. Actual schedules depend on home size, design, project scope, approvals, site readiness, materials, logistics and GC finishing. Your production slot, delivery date and install sequence are confirmed at contract.
