Mark Turnbull

Founder & CEO

Mark is the Founder and driving force behind MBS and has expertly assembled a dynamic executive team, board of advisors, and industry partners. With 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, Mark's diverse background spans real estate investment, construction, land development, property management, business development, and leadership roles as a marketing and creative director. A dedicated humanitarian, Mark has volunteered at local homeless shelters and made multiple trips to Haiti to help build schools, homes, and orphanages. His unwavering commitment to making a positive impact shapes how MBS operates and grows.

Nicole Wales, JD

Chief Operations Officer

Nicole brings a solid track record in operational management and supply chain logistics. Her notable achievement includes leading a Canadian offsite construction company from near insolvency to profitability within two years. Holding a Doctor of Law degree from the University of Windsor, Nicole combines her legal education with extensive operational experience, making her a valuable asset to MBS. Her role involves strategizing and implementing efficient operational processes to drive the company's growth and success in the offsite construction industry.

Ella Myur, MSc, ACA

Chief Financial Officer

Ella Myur leads finance at MBS. She oversees financial strategy, reporting, and capital planning as MBS scales up panel production at its 40,000-ft² St. Louis facility.
 

A chartered accountant (ACA), Ella spent six years in audit at PwC London, UK, most recently as a Manager, working with clients in construction, oil and gas, hospitality, and luxury goods. She holds an MSc in Banking and Finance from the University of St Andrews and a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Exeter.

Quinn Currie

Production Lead

With over ten years in floor management and offsite production, Quinn Currie leads manufacturing operations at Module Building Systems. Quinn oversees the panelized production line that brings MBS's clients' projects to reality, managing workflow, scheduling, and quality across the shop floor.

A hands-on leader with deep experience in panelized and off-site construction, Quinn keeps production efficient, precise, and scalable as MBS scales its offsite operations.

Jimmy Quinlivan

Business Development Manager

Born and raised in St. Louis, Jimmy Quinlivan brings a diverse background spanning heavy equipment sales, logistics, construction, and shipping container home production to Module Building Systems. That cross-industry experience gives him a practical understanding of both the product and the people MBS serves.

Beyond his sales career, Jimmy is the founder of the Q Foundation and the Ben Polson Foundation, reflecting a deep commitment to community, the same values that drive MBS's mission to deliver quality, affordable modular housing.

Corey Havers

Architectural Design
Project Manager

A Red Seal carpenter, project manager, and architectural designer, Corey Havers brings over two decades of fabrication leadership to Module Building Systems. He translates architectural vision into CNC-ready manufacturing drawings that power MBS's automated line.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination, Corey pairs technical drafting skill with hands-on construction and project leadership are a rare blend that makes him integral to scaling MBS's panelized offsite operations.

Tanooki

Director of First Impressions

Tanooki oversees front-door operations at MBS, where he owns greeting, morale, and the strategic redistribution of anyone's lunch left below counter height. He brings a rigorous four-point inspection process to every visitor and has never once let a delivery driver leave without proper acknowledgment. He holds no formal credentials but has logged more hours in the office than most of the team.

Maxine Clark is one of the true innovators in the retail industry. In 1997, she founded Build-A-Bear Workshop, a global retail-entertainment experience with over 400 stores worldwide and 200 million+ stuffed animals sold. Since 2013, she has applied her entrepreneurial skills to improving K-12 public education and investing in and mentoring women and minority entrepreneurs.

Don Pohl

President of Ranken Technical College, Don has been with the institution for over 20 years. He holds an MBA and BA in Computer Science from Webster University and an Associate of Technology from Ranken.

Urban League of St. Louis

Michael serves as Vice President of Workforce Development & Strategic Partnerships at the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis, where he leads workforce initiatives and cultivates partnerships that expand economic opportunity across the region. A longtime St. Louis civic leader, he also chairs the board of The St. Louis American Foundation and was honored with the Urban League's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2026 for his decades of service to the community.
