The Hunt Lodge is a simple, refined weekend base on one level. A 40 × 8 ft screened porch runs the full front under warm vertical wood, with charcoal horizontal wood-grain siding on the sides and rear and a dark metal gable roof. Inside, the gathering room seats eight on two three-seat sofas and two lounge chairs. The L-shaped kitchen has a 30 in range, a sink under its own window and a 36 in refrigerator bay, with a 42 × 96 in table for eight toward the porch. Two identical bunkrooms each hold four adult berths in two bunk assemblies, with reading and charging cubbies and a gear cabinet. Two private shower baths share one wet wall, so a shower never ties up the only toilet. A side mudroom keeps boots and field gear out of the lounge, with a gear bench, lockers and a stacked laundry.
