The Wren at a glance
The Wren puts a full home on one floor in 800 sq ft. Warm vertical wood covers the whole front and gable, with iron-gray horizontal siding on the sides and rear and a black standing-seam gable roof. A covered entry opens into the living area, with a large front window and the TV on the left wall. The kitchen runs along the right wall in one straight line: refrigerator, range, a sink under its own window, dishwasher and a pullout pantry. Four-seat dining sits toward the rear. Two queen bedrooms at the back share a short private hall, each with a 6 ft 6 in wardrobe. The bathroom has a tub and shower and a 54 in vanity. A stacked laundry closet and a small utility closet sit off the hall, and a side door leads outside.

How it's built
The Wren, built with panelized construction
MBS builds The Wren from factory-made wall panels, floor cassettes and roof panels, CNC-cut in our St. Louis plant to the approved drawings. Panels ship flat and are set on a conventional foundation. The finished home is wood framing, not a modular box or a manufactured home, with up to a 50% quicker construction schedule.
