1. CNC precision replaces field cutting

On site, framing lumber is cut by hand, board by board, and the short ends pile up. In the MBS factory, CNC machines cut every component to exact dimensions from digital drawings. The machine nests parts to use each sheet and each board fully before it ever makes a cut.

A factory keeps its scrap in one place, sorted and reusable. Offcuts from one panel become blocking, bracing, and small components in the next. What a job site sends to landfill, a production line sends back into the workflow.
